We are all in different stages of our journey and the things we recognize as truth differ because “All truth is independent in that sphere in which God has placed it…” – D&C 93:30 It is very possible that while one person can bear testimony that tithing is a true principle…it is only true within a certain sphere. That sphere just happens to be lower than the sphere that requires consecration. This simply put means that we can each receive different witnesses by the spirit based on which sphere/law we are in.
