If you want to be perfect, stop wasting your time trying to live every law given to you by the church and focus on what really matters, love God and EQUALLY love your enemy. We can be perfect in this life if we know what it means. Jesus taught us pointing out how God is perfect because He sends His rain on both the righteous and the wicked EQUALLY. He shines His sun on both the righteous and the wicked, those that love Him and those that hate Him EQUALLY. Jesus teaches that because God does this, HE IS PERFECT.
