Alma 17:4 14 year mission
Alma 17:11, 20:29-30 Warned of afflictions, and given a promise
Alma 17:27-39 Alma defends the flocks of King Lamoni
Alma 18:28-33 Build on Common beliefs
Alma 22:7-11 Aaron also builds on Common beliefs

Alma 19:16 Abish lives among the unbelievers
Alma 19:20-22, 25-27 Arguments over the meaning of a sign
Alma 20:1-5 Ammon goes to save his brothers
Alma 20:8-11 Lamoni wanted to see his father, and so he does
Alma 20:17-18 Lamoni is an innocent man
Alma 20:20-27 Ammon fights old king (He who is convinced against his will is of the same opinion still)
This is the third time Ammon has declined to rule
Alma 21:1 Aaron went near Mormon (Noah's Priests still there?)
Alma 21:5-10 Need the Spirit present to teach (compare to Ammon's teaching)
Alma 21:22-23 Lamoni's people free to choose, and many are zealous
Alma 22:2-3 Aaron follows Ammon's pattern for teaching
Alma 22:5-6 The Spirit troubles the King, and he questions his own traditions
Alma 22:28-35 Layout of lands (Nephi landed on the West Coast)

This lesson contains some powerful doctrine. We have Lamoni, a man no different than the average Lamanite, believing there was no such thing as sin, being taught in what is assumed to be one day, the three pillars of the Plan of Salvation, namely the Creation, the Fall, and the Atonement. In addition, Ammon counts the blessings of mankind and his people in particular. Aaron does the same for Lamoni's father.

Lamoni repents, and sees the Savior. He has his Calling and Election made Sure. Soon, his wife, and servants, also receive the Savior, and go about preaching of what they have seen.

Lamoni's Father also repents, but does not state specifically that he saw Jehovah. Most likely he did, but it is not specifically recorded here.

How can two wicked Lamanites be forgiven and receive the Second Comforter in a single week, and prior to baptism? This lesson is an excellent section of the Book of Mormon to study as a lesson manual for receiving the Second Comforter in our own lives.
