I had occasion to meet a very interesting person with a very interesting claim several years ago. This person claimed to be one of the spirits who followed Lucifer in the pre-existence and was cast out of heaven with him. She told me she had found a two-year old who had died, was able to possess the body, and bring it back to life. She was in her early twenties at the time, and believed that if she lived this life well, she would be given a body of her own.
I looked up the official church position on the possibility of forgiveness for those who were cast out of heaven for rebellion. I found a quote which I cannot locate today. It said in essence, no man knows whether they can be forgiven. The quote implied the possibility might exist. I received inspiration which I felt compelled to pass along to her that if she remained my friend, and remained close to me, she could earn the right to have a body of her own.
Sadly, she was unable to do so, and I have since lost track of her completely. But the lessons I learned from her are still in my mind.
