Today Fairy was stung by a scorpion. After calling poison control to know what signs we should look for, we put into practice what we had read over the weekend. Dragon gave her a blessing through the power of the Holy Ghost to cause the venom to become inert and to dissipate. During this experience, he was also inspired to command Fairy's body to be immune to any poison, so long as she lives her life by the Spirit. We live on land which has many scorpions, black widows, and the occasional poisonous snake. After witnessing the venom of one of the most deadly scorpions have no lasting affect after only a few hours, Dragon was comforted to know his wife will be safe from such beasts as bite and protected from any who intend her harm through poisoning. Our land is protected first by the Spirit, second by Angels, third by our dogs, fourth by our guns, and lastly by a security system. Most people would put this list in reverse order, but this is the order in which it belongs. If God sees fit to allow an intruder on our property, and the angels don't slay him outright, and the dogs don't scare him away or mame him, if he is able to avoid the gunshots and make it inside the house, the security system will call the police for us, they being our last line of a very strong defense. Even so, they cannot harm us if we live according to the Spirit.
