Finrock, I am very glad that I happened to check back here and saw you had posted!

Amonhi said, “There is a lot to unlearn before a person coming from an LDS upbringing can understand the condescension of Christ.” I completely agree. I also agree that D&C 93 is right on point to this topic.

Jesus prayed, “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” We can pray and ask to know God and Jesus Christ who was sent. In that revelation we will come to know God (the father, the son, the Holy Ghost) and ourselves.
