Thank you for sharing your experience. I am especially grateful for your comments about the Firstborn and 144k, because it validated things I came to know. I wish I know what made the difference for Yehoshua to... well, change me. I'm 55 this month.
I appreciate Bishop's comment about seeing the Savior too. With spiritual eyes. Huh.
I had an experience when praying and having asked the Savior if He would come to me. In my mind, it was as if I sped through clouds for a second at a great speed and but not abruptly and was suddenly standing about 50 feet from the Lord who was sitting on a large long,... oh, stone outcropping from the ground. Like it was a couch or something. Two people were standing near Him as He seem to be engaged in business with them,... and a couple others standing about 10 feet away. I took in the scene quickly though. As I had 'come' to that place He turned to me... looked right into my eyes and said "Yes,... will you do something for me?" I then came immediately to myself.
I couldn't help but feel like I had actually seen Him, but I had no reference. There was no feelings or colors of His eyes that I would have expected but Bishop, your comment gives me more pause now.
I'm glad I checked in today.
