I have seen neither. So don't take my word on it. I would have you ASK God.

Seeing Christ, Seeing God is a blessing of comfort.

But,

After one receives their C&E they can receive the Second Comforter, they not only see Christ but "receive the ceremonial embrace". Than you have HIS spirit to be with you always. Eventually (I think) after this, God bears record of His son TO YOU. Thus receiving even greater things. (D&C 76 vision of Heaven) This is my thought from reading others account so I may be wrong.
