Every time I reread this experience, the thought from the scriptures comes to mind:

"Cry unto him for mercy; for he is mighty to save." Alma 34:18

I get several layers of meanings from that word, mighty.

He is Powerful enough to save. There is nothing outside of his power to save and heal, except one's free agency that opposes His willingness to save.
He is Gracious enough to want to save. Many fear the wrathful side of a vengeful God. He has a mighty level of graciousness and kindness and is ever willing to save and heal. As oft as we repent ....
He is eager to save. Some think He is stingy with his saving power, maybe due the scripture "after all we can do," or maybe because he doesn't save and heal us on our demand schedule. He loves saving and healing. It thrills Him. Its what He lives for.
