Did you take note of the next chapter wherein God is rebuking Aaron and Miriam? There are several interesting points in chapter 12. First of all, If you are a Prophet, God WILL visit you in your dreams or in a vision. Secondly, Miriam was a Prophet. Third, Moses received revelation by a method other than those prescribed for Prophets. What does this say about Moses? Was he more than a prophet? If so, what? Are there others who receive revelation the way Moses did? If so, what are they, if they are more than a Prophet?
