Enlightenment from the Light of Christ and Comforting from the Spirit of Christ . . . for thought (mind) and feeling (heart) is described thusly:
The intervention of the Light of Christ,(Conscience) is as an Elias within:
Quote:Mark 1:
2 As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
Quote:Doctrine and Covenants 88:
66 Behold, that which you hear is as the voice of one crying in the wilderness--in the wilderness, because you cannot see him--my voice, because my voice is Spirit; my Spirit is truth; truth abideth and hath no end; and if it be in you it shall abound.
67 And if your eye be single to my glory, your whole bodies shall be filled with light, and there shall be no darkness in you; and that body which is filled with light comprehendeth all things.
68 Therefore, sanctify yourselves that your minds become single to God, and the days will come that you shall see him; for he will unveil his face unto you, and it shall be in his own time, and in his own way, and according to his own will.
As the party of the Bridegroom approaches, the "light" will become visible, first, in the darkness. It will be followed by a Spirit of anticipation, "The Spirit of Promise." At last, the Host will arrive in the realization of His very Presence.
Quote:James 3:
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
It behooves us to become acquainted with the "Fountain of All Righteousness," that seeds can grow to fruition and we can rejoice in their fruits, together. So, to begin, some "unraveling" has to occur to the "linearity" of thought. Let it; therefore, become "dimensional."
"I must endure the presence of a few caterpillars if I wish to become acquainted with the butterflies."
