As someone who doesn't know for sure, I'm still willing to share my opinion and see how it contrasts with those who know more.
I believe tha call can be extended many times, but you can only be chosen, or elected, once.
Once you have been elected, you have the blessings of the celestial kingdom sealed upon you, and I believe the only way you can lose it at that point is to reject it by choice, or by the shedding of innocent blood.
As far as sins committed after C&E, I have heard others say that you must suffer for those sins after death. I don't know if that is correct or not.
I also believe that you can receive later confirmations of your C&E being made sure, but again, don't know for sure.
