I now see that it probably was not said in a condensing view, it was more from impetuousness of youth.
"If you are not familiar with these verses, I can quote them for you, or state the source of these prophecies, though I do not have time now to do so."
I have read them all over 30 years ago, and have received many personal revelations concerning them over the years.
You said, "It suggests to me your mind is closed and your heart is hardened by the need to be right. What's worse, you assume my mind is likewise closed. This forum is not intended for people to gather fans...
I would say, if I am looking for fans... I sure am doing a p poor job, the only fan I have is one wife who knows me almost as well as the Lord. And she is not lining up to follow me blindly!
As for being close minded... it depends on the topic. Once I have personal revelation on the subject, unless something is presented that differs in some aspect from what I have received and needs more divine clarity, my mind is set in stone. When someone say something that is the exact opposite to what I know to be true, I will plainly say that, as I have.
Are there topics that I have no clear understanding on? Probably a billion facts I either do not know or cannot recall.
Is my heart harden to the truth or the need to be right? I think those who know me, they are my witnesses.
Shalom
