A few notes about this lesson:
More than once in the chapters for this lesson, it says that those who believe on the name of Jesus will do miracles in His name. Jesus then speaks of the sealing power, telling the Apostles that whatever they ask of God, in the name of Jesus, will happen. Yet the promise is not made only to the 12. It doesn't say any Apostle who believes will do miracles, it says ANYONE. Never before has this passage come to me so strongly. I feel I must learn more about how to obtain this power. Certainly I believe on Jesus, as we are commanded to do in these chapters. So I expect there will come a day when I can do the miracles Jesus did, and more, Jesus says, because He Himself was about to die. That is, if He remained on the Earth longer, He would have done more miracles. I value your thoughts on this, and I know there have already been several threads about it.
